This part of SZNS SANS 1116, in addition to the relevant national legislation, specifies requirements for aluminium number plates that are intended for use on motor vehicles (including motor cycles and tricycles) and trailers.
NOTE Annexes A and B provide information regarding the quality verification of aluminium blank plates for retro-reflective number plates, and the location of holes on number plates, respectively.
