1 Scope

• This part of SANS 10187 covers the safe securement and loading of metal loads on vehicles.

• This part of SANS 10187 covers the following categories of metal load:

1. a) metal plate;
2. b) metal sheet in rolls or coils;
3. c) metal bars or billets;
4. d) long flexible sections;
5. e) large castings and fabricated units;
6. f) wire coils; and
7. g) scrap metal.
